Custom Upholstered Furniture From A Bespoke Furniture Designer In Staffordshire

Welcome,

I'm Melanie

We may be meeting for the first time, so let me introduce myself. I’m Melanie, owner of Wrapped Studio. Based in the village of Clifton Campville in Staffordshire,  I've been in love with upholstery since I learnt this beautiful craft over 14 years.

Over the years I have designed, built, and upholstered hundreds of custom pieces of furniture for many wonderful clients. I now focus on chairs, as they are my favourite pieces to create. It’s easy to have fun and push the boundaries of design by dressing them up in colourful and stunning fabrics, making each one unique.

I believe a home should be a place that makes you happy when you walk inside and tell your unique story. That is what I hope to achieve for you with each piece of furniture I create. I am based just outside of Tamworth, Lichfield, and Measham and work with clients across the UK.

Quality

All of our upholstered and custom chairs are made to order with pride of workmanship. The materials selected for production and finishing are sourced for quality over quantity to ensure our furniture lasts a lifetime. Chair frames are hand crafted from solid wood and glued and screwed together for stability and longevity.

Our hand selected fabric library consists of a collection of stunning luxurious and colourful prints, weaves, and embroidery fabrics from a selection of our talented British textile designers.

Finally, we have a meticulous inspection process prior to packaging to ensure each piece is finished to perfection prior to leaving the studio.

Sustainability

Sadly in the UK, a staggering 22 million pieces of furniture are thrown away every year, which is having a massive impact on our planet. Wrapped studio is focused on making a positive change to the industry by choosing sustainable materials and creating furniture that is built to last.

To that end we ensure our suppliers share our values. Our frames are built from ethically and responsibly sourced timber that is FSC approved. The internal padding of each chair is made up of natural materials including merino wool and 100% latex rather than non-biodegradable foam offering maximum comfort and luxury without the harsh chemicals.

Our fabric library is made up of British designers and fabrics made in the UK. Many of the designers we work with are environmentally conscious using natural fibres and only print to order reducing their waste.

Finally we plant three trees every time we sell a piece of furniture. If you wish to know more please message us today.

Kind words from clients.

'Melanie helped me reimagine several chairs and pillows after a recent move into a new home. Her work is outstanding, and I am thrilled with the result! She is lovely to deal with, has a keen artistic eye, and completely understood my vision. The result is one-of-a-kind furniture that I will cherish forever. If I ever need more furniture reupholstered, I will absolutely call Melanie again.'
